Broken Records

HPP is a rare condition causing weak bones. Low awareness results in underdiagnosis & delayed treatment. Hospital radio stations reach millions of people, at the moment that doctors & patients are looking for answers to medical conditions. We used this media channel and turned a form of entertainment into a tool to teach people.  

We created a song that talked about the physical and emotional symptoms of HPP & using a technique from the 50s “Roentgenizdat”, that records music on discarded xrays,  ‘Broken Records’ were sent to hospitals and hospital radio stations around the UK.
